It seems a little odd to be making warm and wooly hats in the heat of a New Zealand summer - but of course the other side of the world is still in snow. A week or so ago, I made a little felted wool pixie hat for this little cutie in Alaska.

Although I wouldn't wish to be anywhere else than right here in NZ, I must admit that my very preggy ankles would relish an afternoon spent in snow today...
